Epiphany was last Sunday! My mom made a delicious king cake.
A common tradition on Epiphany is to put a bean in the king cake, and whoever gets the piece of cake with the bean is the king! William ate his cake with caution, but he was not careful enough. Crunch! He bit into the bean. Can you tell how tired he was that night by his smile?

We also wrote in chalk above our door the letters, "C", "M", and "B" which are the initials of the wise men, Caspar, Melchior, and Balthazar. The letters also stand for the phrase "Christus mansionem benedicat" which means "Christ bless this house".
