New Season

Is it October already? No, seriously? When did the weather change? It seems like just yesterday we were visiting the pool, sweating in the humid heat of summer. And now the weather is mild and fall is setting in. Wow! A lot has happened since summer.

Oh dearest Zanzibar Buck Buck McFate, how we loved you. We just didn't love your smell and your obsession with chewing. Have a great time at the farm with all your bunny buds! We'll miss you.

Her very first pair! She is slimming up quite nicely as she grows taller. Work it, girl! Strike that pose!



Defoe

William continues to make me laugh everyday. . . but he has become quite a mature boy. He is thriving in school. He played speed Scrabble with my friend Virginia and me the other day. He didn't understand the game completely, but he gave it his best effort :D.



That would be "Sue" as in "Mrs. Sue," his therapist when he was 3. That would be "Lora" as in "Mrs. Laura," his preschool teacher. And, you guessed it, that's "DS" as in "Nintendo DS." I never knew it was a stand-alone noun :).



So many things have been going on lately. They say the seventh week of school is the most stressful--I certainly agree. School is stressful, but I love it. I love the flow of every day, especially when work is intermingled with the fun stuff. Fun stuff like. . .
